LG is just pure loudness, the quality is just above average. HTC is also quite loud but with a somehow better sound than LG, but still not as good as the XS Max.
The iPhones have the most natural bass. The fact that the earpiece is about as loud and as good quality as the bottom speaker alone makes it a better choice for the users.
As for the camera, Smart HDR is just hard to compete with at this point, especially in video where only Sony's 4K HDR could somehow rival their video recording capabilities.
It can do 4K@60fps for an unlimited time and still with a strong EIS, that alone makes it a superior camera to any other phone of this year.

As, 10 Dec 2018For same reason, why would anybody buy phone with notch?
I... moreIn many ways, the iPhone strikes back by having the best stereo speaker on a smartphone today, class-leading performance (the benchmarks already prove them, no need for other discussions), one of the best (if not the best) camera today, most color accurate and visible display in direct sunlight, most advanced Facial biometric security, longest software support among all smartphones, and the most reliable at all times.
It's surely not without its flaws, but it has everything to satisfy the users that these cheap phones couldn't provide.
If this lack of fingerprint reader at least somehow means an advanced facial recognition, or the relatively low screen resolution being compensated by the eye-blinding brightness level, contrast, color accuracy, and sunlight visibility, then I would understand.
Knowing Huawei, I doubt this phone will do those things.
But the price must be right, because there's a RealMe 2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi A2 in the same $200 price category as this phone might be priced.

If Apple can sell those (without fps and with giant notch), i guess for 4 or 5x smaller price, this Huawei will have good sales.. On the one hand botton is biger than those in iPhones, but on the another, notch is smaller 70%..

It will have to be very, very cheap, considering the number of other devices out there with similar or better specs, this should only cost £45 in the uk, about the same as moto C, the only reason for buying from moto or Huawei is the fact that they are known names with some kind of usable customer service system in the uk/EU, otherwise, at this kind of spec level/cost there are loads of chinese devices available..
