And you have no argument here, because that unknown brand no one had heard of sold 1 million phones in just over half a year.

Pocophone also sells at a rapid pace and it's not out of stock at either aliexpress, geekbuying, trading shenzen, gearbest or many others. So quit your nonsense, you have no case.

If you've found some garbage webshop that keep saying they're out of stock then find one that actually has it. Even here in tiny little Norway it's in stock in 6 out of the 7 webshops that carry it. In the 7th one new stock is expected on January 5th.

Both of these models, or brands if you insist on calling them that, are designed to create hype by promising prices they can't sell them for. Mostly by "flash sales" where they don't sell anything other than the hype.

I'd recommend you get one of Honor 8x or the Realme 2 Pro or Realme U1, and save those extra bucks, also you'll definitely feel the upgrade from your Note 5 Pro. Though F2 would be great choice too if you are adamant on getting it, but if your needs are fulfilled in 14k, why go for 22k :)

No scam, they just didn't foresee the success they would have.

OnePlus did not just start from scratch out of the blue either. They're a brand of BBK Electronics, same as Vivo, Oppo and RealMe.

Granted stores may use Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo etc. to boost interest, but from Pocophone, Honor and RealMe's perspecitves, they are their own brands. Honor in example is almost exclusively marketed as "Huawei Honor" here in Norway, even though it shouldn't. Because it is just Honor, but including the "well-known and safe" Huawei name inspires customers confinence and so the stores do it anyways.

Also, One Plus took a year to start selling phones because that was their scam marketing strategy; to advertise low cost phones that were always out of stock.

Good job Xiaomi and India. Let's show that $900-$1000 flagship smartphones are dumb.

Blind te... moreSure, let's cut the resolution on the Poco, as well as ruin the black levels by making 0.425 cd/m2 the deepest black instead of 0.314 cd/m2. Top tip: Don't believe everything you read online.

Only in very strong sunlight is the XR better due to higher maximum brightness. But for details and black level, the Poco is better. So for how one actually uses the phone the vast majority of the time, the Poco has the better display of those two, and at much less than half the price. Iphone 8 plus is also a better deal than the XR, or a used X which depending on market can be had for less than a new XR.

RaGsMaRtY, 10 Dec 2018Yes but at least u get Stock UI and good user experience.I've recently tried stock android and android one on Pixel and Mi A2, and wow is it boring, and so much missing so you have to use third party everything. Most of which does not get the same level of function as something integrated. Even something as basic as daily (not just monthly) data limits and usage. This is fully integrated in MIUI, but for stock android you need third party apps - most of which get no access to system settings, so they count separately from the system. Google also offers a data monitoring app, Datally, and it didn't even get daily data limits until this summer, years after MIUI and not a part of android one or stock android.

MIUI is very nice, and so stepping away from it isn't tempting. I've seen the horror others make, touchwiz (luckily going away now), funtouch and color OS is also a bit too much and in some cases too locked down even. MIUI on the other hand is very open to customization and third party launchers for those who want that etc., same as stock android.

Most importantly Xiaomi and MIUI offers great after market support with updates.

Sony and Motorola have pretty plain UI (and some Moto models with android one) so not awful, just boring and need for third party everything.
