"It's going to be pretty smart."
I will change this to "It's going to be pretty smart AFTER you buy from Apple at a high price which cost WAY TOO MUCH compared to Samsung wireless charger & other QI wireless chargers that does the pretty much the same basic thing."

siminum, 10 Dec 2018there is nothing innovative in Apple...grow up and open you... moreInnovation and invention are completely different. Apple is being innovative in how we charge all our devices simultaneously and work together. It’s clearly more than just 3 Qi chargers slapped into a wide pad.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2018Apple is always smart. They always release innovative products.there is nothing innovative in Apple...grow up and open your eyes: every "new" thing they "invent" there is already developed in a form or another producing the same results Apple is saying that only their products are; stating that you are "the most innovative" company and buyers think that is simply like a "Shepard and his sheep"..if they want to grow by lying to your customers....well...ask Apple if it's correct what they are doing to their customers...to put it simply: Apple is using "placebo" effect on their customers

Walter C. Dornez, 10 Dec 2018That explains the delayMaybe.
I might be showing my age, though, I don't like over-software/automation. I prefer dumbchargers which will simply charge the device to "full" and then stop charging. I don't need it to have Bluetooth or RGB lighting or "Hey Alexa" features.

every apple device should come with a thick manual and a warning: because we care, we will charge you extra for every feature!
