I'd take a larger 16MP/12MP sensor over a small 48MP sensor. Software is also important since if you don't have the software to take full advantage of the camera then you might as well not have a 48MP sensor at all.

      USB Type-C but still 2.0 aren't that better

        so hole is the new trend knw ........ not a bad trend,still want to see how they implement it, 3mm to 5 mm hole would be nice more than that would be Eyesore,still good luck redmi have very high hopes from u.

                      Maybe that's why the President said its "not bad".... Turns out he wasn't being humble... :D

                      Its a midranger at best, so how can it beat flagships in camera quality? (or maybe it does, is it?)

                        If true I expect price to close to $400

                          48MP 1/2" on Redmi line? I'm in line!

                          Maybe it's the next Redmi Pro series? Hope it uses USB Type-C

                                    Xiaomi's making a huge mistake here if this turns out to be true. What's the point of having a hole/notch if the chin is massive? Wasn't the purpose of the notch to increase screen to body ratio while still retaining a smaller form factor?
