AnonD-558092, 12 Dec 2018Hmmm. That would need to have the display under the camera.... moreTrue. Though one part of the display could be a meld between display and camera with only the sensors able to be seen. Apply an extremely thin layer over those sensors and perhaps you could get a camera that is very unobtrusive. The easier way would be to put both cameras with just the sensors visible in the middle of the notification bar. The size would be greatly reduced if the pill or the hole. Then, they turn off the pixels and voila, you got 75% smaller bezels than the S9. All this could be solved of they put it in the middle and make is as small as possible

At this point, transparent AMOLEDs are a more effective solution. But it is still doable. Display under the camera, not so much (it will make the device look super weird).

Samsung US' northern subsidiary ain't generous on colors or device selection. J3 Prime/2018, A5/A8 2018 and the flagships. Flagships have 2 colors (S8 had Black/Grey, S9 had Grey/Lavender, N8/9 both had Blue/Black).

But this is actually a good idea you had. You should post it in Samsung+

As for the hole, well, I've been playing around with a few ideas on how instead of blacking out the status bar, it could be made where the camera hole matches the color of the wall paper. No black, it's just the design of the camera next to the notifications but the same color

People that are interested in updates started to get tired of this lack of respect for their customers , and yes , I'm a Samsung user since Galaxy S1 and currently using Note9. They have great devices and yet crap support for updates, hopefully they improve or they will lose even more customers.
