British Samsung Galaxy S10 prices leak, Lite will be cheaper than the Galaxy S9

Things look even better when you consider that the base storage will be upped to 128GB. There's also talk of the S10 wirelessly charging other devices.

I'm looking at the pricing and thinking samsung is very smart with their approach.
If people can afford Ishit with 128 gb for $1200 then obvious choice would be having four times as much for as little as 1500 ;)
Well if the fruit company selling millions priced at 1000+ then why not.
At least samsungs smaller model will have a screen with more then 720p

    I am looking forward to note 10 to replace my 2.5 year old phone.
    But with this pricing for s10, I am considering to just take the note 9 with year end discount, 700~750 usd now here and I'm golden.

    Phone's prices are getting ridiculous these days.

      These will be in heavy discount after 2 months. Go ask Apple, lol. 1k+ phones is a line that most consumers won't cross.

        Unless Samsung is ready to announce that each phone will instead get updates directly from them, and get every single monthly security update, and every single platform update for 5-years..... well, in that case, I don't see the justification for raising prices to iPhone X levels.

        Getting faster performance?
        Well, that doesn't cost money... its what happens with time in the tech industry.

        Adding more cameras?
        Also not as expensive as people think, and completely useless if it doesn't increase the END user experience (ie/ take better footage). While I think it will (have to) increase camera quality, I don't expect to do so that much, just based on my background knowledge of photography. However, IF they manage to make it so good that its better than all digital cameras on the market (except DSLR) then sure, they legitimately have justification to increase the prices.

        Though in my professional opinion this seems more like "catching up with the Jones", where Samsung may in fact kill the headphone jack, microSD slot, and DualSIM port.... whilst adding a notch/hole and increasing the prices. To catch up with the (bad) TREND and be on familiar (bad) ground with the iPhones. So its not a leader, its another me-too (if these are correct).

        Maybe people should buy the ASUS RoG Phone2 or a Xiaomi instead?

The prices are too high and the competition is alot closer in everything to the point that the differences are small. If anything the Huawei and xiaomis are offering more unusual design and cameras. Samsung are losing their way.

                                        S9 cost brand new here in Slovakia 449 euros and S9 plus 549 euros.
                                        This is pure robbery. After 3 months they will cost 2/3 of original price after half year 1/2 of its original price.
                                        Samsung really proven they are greedy and dehonesting good brand.
                                        Having nothing special but an extra camera and a 1TB isnt worth the money they asking for.
                                        To the hell with Samsung.
