I was excited about all the gaming phones coming out. Then realised that iPhone is frankly the best gaming phone on the market.

Only thing they should improve is accessory and controller support.

But if you continue to read the history you will find out (and what is already clear from your text by the word "discontinued") that this is _NOT_ what they based the windows (or MS-DOS) on.

Xenix is a discontinued version of a UNIX based operating system licensed by Microsoft in the late 1970s. Impressed by UNIX popularity, Microsoft purchased a license from AT&T. It may be surprised to some people to know that Microsoft once owned UNIX rights. However Microsoft was not involved in selling Xenix directly to the customers rather it licensed to companies like IBM, Intel, SCO etc to port the operating system on their proprietary processors. Unable to face the competition after break up with AT&T, Microsoft decided to transfer the ownership to SCO who released Xenix with new brand name SCO UNIX. SCO UNIX did not sustain after its last version V.2.3.4, released in 1991.

I don't know what "roots" you are talking about here, is it the history of microsoft once released their version of unix (Xenix) that you think of? It has nothing to do with the modern version (code base) of Windows that we are talking about here.

Do yourself a favor and just google: "is windows based on unix".

If you really were a developer, you would know that it is built on Unix and evolved from Unix. No unix = no windows or any of the big os. Stop trying to avoid the truth.

And the point with all this was that Mac OS is not a OS with constraints like iOS. People who thinks that clearly has not used it.

Apple might have more roots, but it still doesn't change the actual fact that it's all based on Unix. Maybe you should try to open your eyes and make sure you try other things than Apple. Linux has the deepest root in Unix.

No matter how much you try, you won't change the fact.

Second, IOS has the most optimized games that runs very well because of the METAL API. Android doesn't. Third, try playing fortnite on android. How good is the refresh rate of the screen if none of the android phones have 60FPS screens or higher?
Having a higher hz means it is good for games, and drawing. Other than that. Then it is considered useless.

Yeah anyway got the asphalt 7 and it has 60 fps even on my good ol' galaxy alpha. No thx. It can even have 16k resolution 90:9 aspect ratio and 580fps is still the biggest cr*p I ever seen asphalt 9. I am ashamed that asphalt 7 is so great even today but it is very old for latest phones. Asphalt 6 haven't had the chance to play it once, I bet is phenomenal as well as the asphalt 7.
