I agree to that! Curved screen is hard to protect with any tempered glass that does not kill Huawei's Knuckle Gestures.

Sadly, Corning, an American company needs to justify its survival by building a product that will break, so consumers will need to buy more replacements...

Isn't that what products nowadays are all about? Build them so that they will break so consumers will need to buy another one...

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2018So what phone would you want?I have similar "problem". I want to upgrade from my Mate 9 but new Mate 20 have same battery size, same amount of Ram (in Europe) as 2 years old phone- OK, maybe better cameras (but I don't care) and slightly better guts (which doesn't matter also, because I'm not a phone gamer). Where to go?

Manufacturers are making fun of consumers. Notch, teardrop notch, heavily curved display, earphones with a dongle, glass back, 5 cameras, useless batteries, $$$$... Totally unnecessary. People are allowing themselves to be ridiculed by crazy designers and marketing networks. I'm having really hard times choosing a phone.

Earlier this year Sony released the IMX586 48MP camera sensor, let's see if it ends up in a future phone and how it compares to the 38MP IMX607 sensor.

My complaints: Huawei phones tend to go 'crazy' with postprocessing and AI enhancements and overly sharpen the photos. Samsung phones, the photo colors are overly saturated.

If you want a flat screen, you might want to consider a budget midrange phone.

However, with on-display fingerprint scanning, I don't think it'll be needed.

Anonymous, 15 Dec 2018Me too, man. Me too...I don't care about 3d face id since there's in screen FP now days they must use atleast less bezel like s9 and note 9.

Waterdrop notch looks good and work fine for me.
I just remove it anyway lol.

Wait P30 Pro without a notch so no 3D face unlock ? so less features ? so does it mean Mate 20 pro is actually better than the new P30 Pro ? last year the difference between Mate 10 and p20 was huge, but this year the only difference between Mate 20 and p30 is just a better camera, As huawei fan I am getting disappointed, s10 plus with all of its new features is looking way more exciting
