[deleted post]Lol dxomark is a joke.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 18 Dec 2018Maybe they tried something regarding triple channel memory ... moreHmm... but SD845 is a Quad channel chip capable when not LPDDR4X Or Asus managed to create a 48Gb memory sticks? I am literally in the same pose as my avatar right now...

Kiyasuriin, 17 Dec 2018Hm.................. I can understand if it's 6/128 GB set... moreMaybe they tried something regarding triple channel memory or some other software tricks to make it work?

[deleted post]How is that relevant to this?

Never satisfied. My god, I bet there will be those who will say "12GB RAM is better than 8GB RAM" in the near future, when it doesn't bring any noticeable performance improvement. Just pure gimmicks that may help to boost sales eh?

Now that's just ridiculous. 12GB of RAM!!? Eh well I suppose it compensates for the heavy UI skin...

Some phones don't even have that much storage forget ram

Kiyasuriin, 17 Dec 2018the 855 just got announced. it's not yet released to the OE... moreThe phone rumors just got out. Not yet out or in production. Your point is?

BigDisplay, 17 Dec 2018Why? 845 have enough power. What do u think 845 cant run? It's a 2019 phone, so it should be running with 2019 hardware. 2018 was the year of 10gb ram and sd845. 2019 would be the year of 12gb ram and sd855. It's not about if it can run stuff, it's about following the tech.

                      It's from Acer

AnonD-731363, 17 Dec 2018My notebook have 8GB of ram and Graphiccard is 4GB this get... moreIn terms of RAW CPU power using the comparation tool called Geekbench the A12X matches single core (Avarage of 4850p on i7-7820HQ, A12X squeeses an avarage of 4886p)
And Multicore is defeated as the avarage of these 61 pages in Geekbench rests at 17821 and the A12X rests at 18266 avarage
(I just love SQL~ how fleeting!)
However since these are ARM vs X64 architecture it's different worlds and when ARM scores at least 85,000 in single core. It can compete with the predator.
                        Ram wise: X21 wins.
GPU wise. No doubt a true victor (I am using 2 1080TI Though :o... and wonder what will be the AnTuTu score of that laptop ........ OwO)

My notebook have 8GB of ram and Graphiccard is 4GB this getting insane.
Wonder when we see a faster phone with better specs than is X21 Predator made by Asus.
The most powerfull laptop ever created.

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2018sounds like you are really unlucky.. or you don't look aft... moreAgree, i have a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 for around 5 years now, still runs like a dream, fast like a panther. Love this 2in1 product.
Never somthing wrong with this, not even one time.
                                  Best one i ever had.

Kiyasuriin, 17 Dec 2018Hm.................. I can understand if it's 6/128 GB set... moreThere is no reason for RAM and internal storage to upgrade parallel to each other.

Most people these days keep most of their multimedia data on the cloud anyway, so they don't need a ton of storage for that. Meanwhile if they're into social networking apps and have installed those bazillion different apps, which all run in the background, then they will need a lot of RAM to keep them open at all times (optimization also plays a major role here).

And before you argue, these kind of apps don't take much storage, but do consume a substantial amount of RAM.

Similarly, mostly in third-world countries, people keep their multimedia on their phones (as 3G/4G services are expensive over there), so they need more storage yet don't care that much about excessive amounts of RAM.

                                    Hope my point is clear.

By the time they release this phone and make it available for public, sd855 phones will be announced and it will be outdated. Classic dead on arrival phone.

                                        Hm..................
I can understand if it's 6/128 GB set... but 12/128 GB seems a little underkill. the ratio is TOO low. storage should be 512 GB with 12 GB OF RAM.
to make sense with the common combinations:
                                        512MB/4 GB
                                        1 GB/8 GB
                                        2 GB/16 GB
                                        3 GB/32 GB
                                        4 GB/64 GB
                                        6 GB/128 GB
                                        8 GB/256 GB
                                        10-12 GB/512 GB
                                        16 GB/1 TB
                                        (form is RAM/Storage)
