However, when u start talking about Nokia 808, i have no answer. That camera phone still the king.

    Too bad Nokia didnt bring back their good old days camera phone as of now. But there are still drawbacks on 808, older lens & old school software algorithm takes a hit on low lights photos & soft pictures. But, its still the best. U cant fight the physics of having the biggest quality sensor on a smartphone camera.

    But as a phone, Nokia 808 are not convenient anymore lol. That thing are really really slow in terms of nowadays smartphone.

And surely we want and see different things from camera. Pictures with zero detail (12 mp with microscopic sensor just doesn't cut it) and often more similar to waterpainting (Pixel tends to do that a LOT) than real photos aren't for me.
            But to be honest, XZ3 is for more casual photography. For real pics i use Nokia 808.

              This is what i'm talking about.
              - bad dynamic range with subtle HDR (only at the airport pics are good)
              - blown highlights especially low light when got street lighting or word on the luminated signboard.
              - Dynamic range can be better if metering focus is accurate, in this case overexposed in some areas proves me the problem still persist.

              The last silhoutte effects photos? Well Mate 20 can do that as well, touch on bright sun area, HDR automatically off, and can get the same silhoutte effects. But XZ3 cant do what Mate 20 can do (especially dynamic range). And as previously mentioned, there are better & good things on XZ3 as well.

              Dont get me wrong, XZ3 is a great camera phone, definitely flagship grade & again, its just not top marks as Pixel, Iphone XS & Huawei P20/Mate 20.

              And this Matthew Moniz guy, have experience a lot of flagship phones, reviewed, daily drives better than me, and i definitely agree with all the things he said. (MKBHD always wrongly define details of a phone)

                He's clearly comparing the design of P30 Pro to that of Mate 20 Pro and saying the back design is a downgrade from Mate 20 Pro while the front looks better on P30 Pro. Don't be a smarta** and move on.

                  While they're at it they can develop their own camera sensor and stop using the crazy expensive sony sensors to keep the cost of phones dirt cheap. That's what your all after in the end isn't it? An entry level phone with budget price but current flagship tech.

Can't fault Google for mocking all these tumorous cameras popping up on the backs of phones these days, one good camera unit+clever software can do the job miles better.

                              And? It still looks better than Mate 20 Pro with a large notch. I assume that they will use ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner like Samsung will on S10 Pro, hence the smaller notch(=no more FaceID)

                                  It is all well. Techology rushes to its peak. But my question for mobile makers is: why the hell nobody makes a protection for that great lenses? SE K800 anyone?
