Xiaomi releasing all these pointless similar spec phones is why they've recently announced they are no longer going to support some older phones. Companies should stick to a maximum of 8 or 9 per year

Mi 8 Lite / Nova 3 body, with soul of a Redmi 6. I wondering why don't they just spend a lil bit more and put SDM632 or even Helio P60 there. Nevertheless, it's somewhat a MediaTek version of the Redmi 6 Pro given its budget nature

ROON, 25 Dec 2018what's the reason behind launching this...??? I mean what's... moreJust to attract those buyers who are on the verge of changing a smartphone but have no idea what to buy and have little to no knowledge about specs and such. They will go like "hey this is a newly launched phone and it comes with free data at a low price, lets purchase it. I will not buy an older phone because it must be worse and I can't showoff." Okay maybe I exaggerate abit but you get the idea.

Xiaomi is crowded with low and mid-segment. What the luring offer of free data. Just come to India here internet is cheaper than packaged water bottle.
