Wish I just waited a little longer and got the most popular phone of 2018 for just a few more bucks, but simply no regrets on my Redmi 5 Plus!

In India I still remember it all started with Moto G (1st Gen) which was one of the first online exclusive phones! At that time it had the specs which no other phone had at that price, the price of less than $200. Alongside, Xiaomi Redmi 1S was launched which costed less than $100, so together these 2 phones had completely changed the definition of budget smartphones! These were the revolutions of smartphone market.
Otherwise we would still be using those horrible Samsung Grand 5 or 6, or HTC Desire something something!
Had Moto stayed on the same track, it would still have been in the competition, but Lenovo had some different plans!

I finally had the opportunity to buy the xiaomi mi max 3 and it certainly blew away expectations and hurled them smack in the face of the competition. For such a competitive price range, their handsets give the big players a good run for their money. I can't wait to see what they can do this 2019. And I hope they will continue to awe and cater to the general public the way the perfect oem should.

Like it or not many people should give thanks to chinese companies like Xiaomi and others.
Because of them many of us can get affordable smartphone with great features, specs and even great build quality.
Without them most of us will stuck at crappy entry level to mid-end phones from Samsung, LG, and other well known brands.
