Locally (as in "in MIUI community only"), the big boys win. So there's the history of big Xiaomi phones. I think the smallest form factor for 2019 will be 5.84", no less.

The Mi Mix is basically the perfectly designed phone. The only problem is it's way too big. If they would just make a regular sized phone, Xiaomi would win the smartphone battle globally.

It's like saying might as well remove the cameras from phones because you can just carry around a digital camera as well... Better to have it built directly into the phone. Logic right..?

It's literally plug and play, while microsd cards require you to fiddle with the sim card slot (and it's extractor tool).

Second, the jack takes physical space, which restricts how thin the phone can be (as the connector still has to function). No one forces you to use wireless, there is an adapter included in the box. By definition, wired headsets have... wires! Just put the adapter in your headset and forget it's there, done.

Even with that huge amount of storage, NOT EVERYONE is as "RICH" as you to pay for unlimited data plan (I ASSUME) for cloud storage. People would go for microsd cards if they need to for easier transfer of media to another phone WITHOUT Internet connection as well as a SECONDARY backup.

As for 3.5mm jack, you can CHOOSE NOT to even use it, just treat it like as if it "wasn't" there. Not everyone WANTS a headphone that REQUIRES CHARGING at some point, and POSSIBLY PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE after a few years. They just want CONVENIENCE, even if it is WIRED.

                                    2. Most of us prefer options than enforcement. With a phone that offers 3.5 mm jack and a microSD slot, you still could have your wireless ensembles and never uses any memory card.

And still we don't have any launch date of mix 3 here in India...

A cable is an exclusive connection, and Bluetooth/WiFi is shared medium with problems all around. Furthermore, Bluetooth devices need a battery, and this is what I do not want to charge and carry. There is an easier solution: a 3.5" jack. And I have microSD memory card I want to use, instant access to my media collection. The cheaper Pocophone F1 has both...
