The company is passing on the reduced taxes on televisions in India onto customers.

Also, nobody is talking about economics or politics here, it's just currency conversion effect on component imports, thus costs reduce and Xiaomi honestly passed-on benefits to customers.

      Wow I'm sure if it was anothor company they won't reduce the price but insted they increase the profit

        Rupee has become stronger, seriously? Just a drop of 3-4 rupees per dollar is nothing! A dollar shouldn't cost more than 60 rupees, after that everything will appear normal!
