Xiaomi has an event tomorrow, could unveil Redmi 7 or Redmi Pro 2

2019 is off to a good start. The Redmi 7 is more likely to be announced tomorrow, but the Redmi Pro 2 is more exciting (48MP camera).

The mi. Phone are very cheaper than other brands.i am using redmi note 4. I have need to purchase new redmi 7 pro,if the price of phone is affordable for me.

        Anonymous, 02 Jan 2019I think they will skip 7 number...They didn't skip 4 but still consider 8 as lucky number. Not to sure but maybe they won't skip 7 to make sure Redmi doesn't go too far above Mi in series. Redmi typically launches twice a year compared to Mi which only once, except for additional S series.

          Vasra, 02 Jan 2019Hopefully not another under-powered Snapdragon 62X device... I'm kinda sure that the Redmi Go would go for (at least) a comparable or inferior than Snapdragon 625 SoC on it.

          Android Go phones usually has an extremely low-end SoC like MT673x or Snapdragon 400-425 series.

            Anonym, 02 Jan 2019Don't forget, microUSB FTW! /s1st gen Redmi Pro has USB Type-C already, hence (of course) its predecessor would go for it.

            Even it's USB Type-C, if it still uses 2.0 version, is such a waste. There's a lot of smartphone that uses Type-C yet it still uses USB 2.0.

              But sensor size is. That 40MP IMX586 has huge 1/2" size, don't you? Most phone at this price only has 1/3"-1/2.55" sensor size, also except Huawei, 1/2.3" is the biggest sensor ever equipped on flagship phones, Xperia for example.
