I don't think that redmi 7 will have 48 mp camera...
I think it is 4800 mAh battery not camera

I don't believe the base redmi 7 will get 48MP camera, maybe redmi 7 pro.
Sa far all non-pro, non-note redmi's have been ultra-budget phones.

Why why, another news about a Chinese phablet? Ah. Xiaomi and other Chinese manufacturers launch one mobile phone every month . All quite similar all gigantic any compact phone, Noooooo even if it added 5.000 Mpx camera 8k recording and 100 000 mha battery that is nonsensical because, Yes is a phablet . Ironic because Chinese and Asian people in average are small people so they must have small hands or at least not big foot hands ,so this is justified beyond my comprehension. And xiaomi event to talk about amazfit bit 2? That's a no. Ah crap.

You know what, I still don't get the 48MP concept sensor from Sony.
The subpixel arrangement they gave could only combine 16 pixels into one, not 4, which would give 2.xx megapixels final image which is somewhat useless.
and if its a real 0.8um 48MP sensor that's not bright enoguh.,

AnonD-59899, 03 Jan 2019How is 4800 supposed to mean 48MP?! >.>It is Chinese way to write it, the way they count. If you check Chinese phone maker website they will write it that way sometimes (1200万 for 12mpx for example. I took this example from vmall honor website: 1670万色 means 16m colors).

I HOPE BOTH 4800MAH and 48MP... if it has a nice display, 3.5mm headphone jack, and decent processor and decently priced... I will be buying :D
