There was confirmation from Samsung sources that the S6 range would get Oreo but then later that didn't happen. So good luck.

The update policy from samsung for their previous Gen smartphones is terrible.
Samsung smartphones are awesome, they pack a bunch for a "reasonable" price.
But when i think about samsung as my next potential buy my answer to that is a big no.
Even tho i love the design and some features it has like the camera and screen quality, qi charging i can get a much better deal with OnePlus and way better updates.
I mean, i have a oneplus 5T and we already got the Pie update

What about galaxy s7? Is it officially dead to samsung? It sure looks like it. That phone still costs over 300 euros and is not that outdated internally but samsung can sure kill it by not updating to 9.0 like Oneplus has promised to do with same chipset in 3 and 3T.
