Concept render imagines Pocophone F2 with updated Xiaomi stylings

03 January 2019
The wide notch of the original was not everyone's favorite feature, so what if it's replaced by a more palatable waterdrop notch?

stock android fan, 03 Jan 2019Just PLEASE make it STOCK ANDROID and it will SELL like 5 t... moreI don't think it is necessary, they allowed owners of Poco F1 to unlock it fast, I dunno if the same goes for global customers. Poco F1 has a plenty of development and custom ROM support. So Xiaomi/Poco is giving users the choice to have their pure stock ROMs or stick with Xiaomi =)

Poco series will/should keep itself distinct from redmi series at least in regard of positioning of cameras. One more, poco UI should be more towards stock android with no bloatwares

get it under android one and watch it explode(not literally like note 7).

Wow amazing looking phone with all the beastly spec hiding under a small body with a cheap price great job xiao mi

          RIP faceunlock

It looks exactly like Honor Play (only with tear drop notch instead really wide), other than that, it looks cleaner and much better then first gen :)

Looks nice. If they have used premium materials this time and price it below 400 USD, will make Oneplus sweat.

1 thing is highly possible, 2 are so and so.

Xiaomi fixes the touch issues on F2.
Xiaomi keeps the price low like the original.
Xiaomi keeps the phone unlocked easily and offers it to devs so it can have good development like the original.

Teardrop notch, best hardware combined with 5000 mha battery with ultra fast charging and I might say goodbye to Sammy Note line, the pen is cool I use it some times, but I can't justify spending 1000-1200 EUR

I am sure top chipset SD 855, a big 4000+mAh battery, 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage, hope for a very good camera. With all that down...they need to bring the Poco F2 with multi-mode global bands. This will give this phone more legs to every corner of the globe.

pocopoco, 03 Jan 2019where is the earpiece, proximity sensor, infrared lighting,... moreEasy, gone, cheaper for them and less features for you paying the same price. But you have the teardrop notch!!!........................ Teardrop advertisement, few nano-pixels more and no word about the remove of notification LED, no IR sensors, perhaps another more removed, probably an ear-speaker you can't listen without touch the screen... The usual today, now a cheaper clone of what you can watch out there.

They shoud keep the camers fron the back in the middle above the finger scanner.
And better without a notch. Better with small bezels than a notch.

Furiounx, 03 Jan 2019Ew I hate the semicircle notch. A teardrop notch like that ... moreI don't get this hate of semicircle notches. Personally, for me those are ok, while I hate those waterdrop ones loved by many. 🤔

New trends are - punch hole camera in-screen and 48 1/2" sensor, honor view 20 got it all and for the price very close to that of pocophone. Also mind its already out so the price will drop sooner.
As for poco f2, to be as popular as before, this is a must, otherwise they can name it F1s as well.
