Today can be a new hope for Nokia as it can scrap its Symbian OS and jump to WebOS develop it and use it as its own.....
Selling Vertu can provide funding but the news of Nokia using WebOS on its device can get enough funds from the market.....

For those of you who simply don't understand good business practice, ask yourself these two questions:

          1) What overlap and synergy do Nokia and Vertu have?

          2) Is it best to sell something when it has value (making a profit) or when it is worth nothing (losing money)?

Vertu doesn't actually help Nokia be Nokia. It's also a great time to sell because you make a nice profit, rather than offloading a loss making unit for peanuts!

People calling SGSII a clone for IPhone if that's true then why the court didn't continue in banning it?
So its not a clone and by the way Apple is the one who stole Samsung F700 design check F700 here in GSMarena.
Samsung is the way and Nokia sells outdated phones with high end phones' prices and i believe if any of you have a bit normal way in thinking he would not buy Nokia they buy their goods from Foxconn in cheap prices and sell it to you very expensive i don't know what Nokia was doing all these years couldn't they make their own parts WOW what a lamo and their only specialty is making Phones and everybody beat them on their own field

There are so many features in ICS that makes symbian obsolete, and everyone knows that symbian is already obsolete.

If Nokia Sue Android cause of patent right know now Nokia made billions out of these patent like what Microsoft did with Android and HTC.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2011And i hope you did realize that recent Nokia phones are usi... morethey're still using single core and you can see the diff if you'd care to hold one of its single core device and a similarly clocked dual core running android on your hands and give it a try. windows is pretty much a new os so they're setting up a standard and hence higher clock speeds, wen u consider symbian, even the latest belle runs smoothly on a 600mhz proc with 256m ram..can u run ics on a similar spec and still run it smooth?

Tag Heuer makes a better luxury phone in terms of material. The OS, though, is a different story.
