Whackcar, 05 Jan 20194000 mAh is the new norm for flagships, so it' kind of disa... moreTrue. Samsung seems to throw excellent endurance figures thanks to optimisation. But it doesn't hurt to have that level of optimisation AND a bigger battery. If car manufacturers were like phone makers, they'd reduce their 50 litre fuel tank to 25 just because they put in a more efficient engine. It effectively doesn't reduce fuel stops. I'd go with 5000, 4500, 4000 even at the cost of thickness and weight.

I'd have also liked the Lite to have been 5.4 or 5.6 inches instead of 5.8. The current S8, S9 have the ideal one hand grip at 68mm But as a flat screen, the Lite is likely to cross 70mm in width. Besides, what's the point in offering a range of phones with 0.2 inch difference between each other. All phone makers do that. It's like having a range of 5 cars between 100 and 110bhp or 4000mm and 4500mm length.

All that said, still looking forward to the Lite. Its compactness, its flat screen, headphone jack, no notches and a side fingerprint scanner. No other phone, flagship or otherwise, has these features.

Then, this means s10, s10+ would have price increase bcs s10 lite and s10 will take place of last year s9,s9+ price. That would be said, s10+ maybe 100 pricier than s9+.

4000 mAh is the new norm for flagships, so it' kind of disappointing to see only the S10+ get that... But Samsung has managed to provide good battery endurance on their phones, so it might turn out fine in the end. Samsung will need to upgrade the battery on their Note 10 though.

S10lite is disappointing. I want small screen with big battery.

Too small battery for the 5.8" and 6.1" that and the lack of radio in EU. Two more erased from my list. They don't learn but still cry because their shipments continue dropping. And it will follow the same trend.

I'm very excited about a small-height S10 Lite. If the screen will have lower resolution than the S10 (almost certainly given that S10 Lite should compete with iPhone Xr) then 3100 mAh should be quite good given that the processor will be on 7nm.

I just hope there will be a notification LED hidden somewhere.

So basically s10 will have the sane size as S9 but more ich on screen. And s10 lite will be smaller than s9? Hope the S10 lite would be 140 mm : ).

SilentAsian11, 05 Jan 2019Well s10 is full of hardware from in display fingerprint sc... moreMany may be different, but I feel it'd be better if they make it thicker (probably somewhere around 9.5mm at most) to get more juice out of it.
It also makes the phone more durable and the added weight to it would give the impression of a more expensive piece of tech.
Then again I'd understand it if the camera sensors are going to be larger this year (literally for straight 4 years, Samsung got no larger than 1/2.55" in sensor size).

Let us not forget about the Bolt, which will have a 6.7" display, four rear cameras, 5G connectivity, ceramic back, as well as a 4500 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Bolt (Verizon Exclusive):

                        - Battery: 4000 mAh

                        Samsung Galaxy S10 5G (Beyond X):
                        - Display:
                        - Back Cameras: 4x lens
                        - Front Cameras: 2x punch-hole lens (pill shaped)
                        - Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9820
                        - Fingerprint Sensor: Ultrasonic in-display
                        - Connectivity: 5G
                        - Back: Ceramic
                        - Battery: 4100 mAh

The display size for the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G (Beyond X) is not yet known, but will likely match the Verizon's exclusive, Bolt. The rest of the specs/hardware should be identical, except for the smaller battery.
