The Sony Xperia XZ4 will have a 21:9 display - here's what watching movies on it looks like

New leak shows glass screen protector sized up against other devices and a video playing on a to-scale XZ4 render.

Sort by:

8GB of RAM and a big 6.5" display. This looks like and XZ4 Premium to me.

I'd love an Xperia with a 5.8-6" 2:1 display, Galaxy S9 like bezels, dual camera setup and stereo front facing speakers with the XZ3's design language. But yeah, that sounds to good to be true and something that could actually turn things around for them so they wil never do that.

    I am a fan of 18:9. It offers a much better experience for browsing, reading and similar.

    But 21:9 sounds a bit too much.

      I love tall phones and without notches or punch holes, my next phone

        I didnt understand what the real size of the bottum bezels. Is it the frame in the photos? In the end of the video its look like just screen protector and the chin is very small.

            I'm a landscape user and love watching cinema aspect ratio on my phone so this ratio is perfect for me. Also greater length always good for split screen real estate.
            But I understand this not for everybody, especially portrait users.

              O MY FREAKING GOD 21:9 it must really be a joke.
              Give me back my loving 16:9 thx... 21:9 cmon.
              Good lord Sony is not the big trend setter, go back to your long sleep Sony.. thx.

                      Dont forgfet to say it will cost about 1000 and thus is already killed by Pocophone Lenovo Z5 Pro GT and simmilar phones with half the price and a same or a lot better specs.
                      Sony were a great brand in past but in opresent chinese brands deliver same or even better quality for a much less price.

                        If this measures are true (length and width) then this phone is perfect

                          Nightmare for pockets.

                            Feels like Sony is back to compete, but thats only the outside...hopefully the same on inside. Feels like big step for sony...to right specs.
