Lyndino, 09 Jan 2019I know we're all entitled to our opinions and what not but ... moredude, we don't care about your artistic interpretation. better else, just manufacture a phone of your design. design has always been, and will always be a subjective aspect in any phone. what i don't know is why you try so hard to explain your side with this blah blah argument. we get it, you don't like the design and frankly i and all others that like it, dont care.

That's my artistic interpretation.

Lyndino, 08 Jan 2019Agreed about preference's, I think the 4 square layout is a... moreI think the camera 'hump' presents because of using large camera sensor 1/1.7” along with big 4200mah battery and try to fit it at 8mm thickness of the phone body. The same goes to vanilla Mate 20 1/2.3" big camera sensor along with 4000mah battery also to retain 8mm thickness of the phone body. Sony phones use the 1/2.3" sensor as well but when the design flush with the body, its either smaller battery or thicker body phone. Latest XZ3 are at 9.9mm thick, flush camera, smaller 3300mah battery. Samsung can do nice flush because they never pass 1/2.55" camera sensor size.
Remember, previous Nokia with bigger camera sensor also has a hump, with a lot smaller battery because of dated technology. Its impressive what Huawei has done to Mate 20. As for leaked Nokia 9 flush camera, i believe its either 1/2.3" camera sensor with smaller battery, or they may use smaller camera sensor (1/2.55" to be likely)

For me, Mate 20 square back cam... moreAgreed about preference's, I think the 4 square layout is a good thought but the huge black box ruins the sexiness of the rear panel. I understand they need the hump to house the sensors but they could have made it look the same as the rest of the phone.
Depending on thickness I prefer the nokia 9 concept, reminds me of the old ICQ logo.

I dont care about colors, my m20x L29 is blue, but as all my phones, its in a flipcase :-P

But to say that Huawei has the best design is ridiculous, especially with that monstrosity of a camera cluster the size of a field on the back. Would have been way better if just lenses and no GIANT square around cluster.
