Wow what a monster phone, the first 12mp and 1080p mass market phone i believe, no memory card slot is a little bad, but 32gb varient is ok. Can someone tell me how the touch buttons will work behinde the phone or is that just the concept like this. I love the whole glowing strip idea with touch buttons. Wanna see the white one live too, cant wait for ces and mwc 2012

admad, 12 Dec 2011Wow, not even released yet and has triple fails compared to... moreIt has to have a normal Sim. Maybe the pictures come from a prototype version or something.
I wouldn't understand why would they lock the battery too but maybe same explanation - prototype? Or they managed to pack a bigger battery by introducing a weird shape that would be hard to make replacable?

Anyway I expected it to look better. It's much bigger than the Arc and still the bezel around the screen as well as the plastic below it makes it even bigger and more space is wasted in the end. Apart from all of these cons I think it's a great phone.

Specs are awesome, but looks isn't it's strong point. I've seen unbranded China phones that look similar or better. Definitely not worthy to replace the gorgeous ARC. Maybe this is a camouflaged prototype and will look better when released? Otherwise Sony please try drawing it again.

Btw used to have a Sony phone (CMD J5) before they merged with Ericsson. Pretty solid phone. Now have the neo and very happy. :-)

But how is micro-SIM a fail? it's more compact and holds more info. Also this phone obviously has a battery, it just isn't removable.

Well done Sony Ericsson, what are others doing and people looking for and where you are going, Very soon Sony ericsson will be compared with "bird mobiles", no worry birds always fly away...

if it is possible make a phone once a sim in inserted cannot be taken out like batteries, these are the things you are in top 10 world mobile manufacture, not matter at last.

I am using sony phones since T610 to k700i,k750i,w810,k790,k800,p910i,p990i,k850i,xperia x10a,xperia x8,x10min, xperia mini pro2 sk17i at last and last phone by SE, restart is happening from my k850i and I am tired of SE. Good Bye...
