No way it'll be called Arc HD. I mean, how? It doesn't even have an Arc or curve of any kind, not even one just for the heck of it. And it doesn't look as good as those first white renders :(

If it doesn't come with a normal sim card slot it's unfortunately a no-go for me. And I had plans for it. But I can't get my Sim card replaced and the choice is too big to pick this one.

Specs are awesome, but looks isn't it's strong point. I've seen unbranded China phones that look similar or better. Definitely not worthy to replace the gorgeous ARC. Maybe this is a camouflaged prototype and will look better when released? Otherwise Sony please try drawing it again.

Btw used to have a Sony phone (CMD J5) before they merged with Ericsson. Pretty solid phone. Now have the neo and very happy. :-)

Nice looking phone.. Seems a waste to have a big back cover that comes off when there is only room for a SIM card, just another moving part that will become loose in time. I may consider this if it has a decent screen - Still enjoy my over saturated AMOLED ;). Makes me laugh how nerdy people are on this site fighting over the differen't manufactures!

I got you GSM Arena. This phone is FAKE.

If you take a clear look at the back of the phone, you'll see the Sony Ericsson logo. If you compare it to any SE logo you'll find that it's clearly different. I guess the Chinese had a hard time copying that phone :D

Unfortunately ugliest phone sony ercisson has ever made. specifications are superb but who doesn't know that design is one of if not the most important things for handsets. I have been waiting for this phone so long but I'm not interested in it anymore. I'll keep my N8

It's certainly very refined and not in your face plus has the luscious screen res to boast. But for a SE phone, it is less aesthetically pleasing than say the Arc HD. Time will tell, I think in person this will be much better to the eye, plus with Sony in charge we can expect quality craftsmanship with the technological expertise, i just hope software won't be a PS3 saga. It's certainly a breath of fresh air compared to the HTC/Samsung crowd.

32GB is not enough for fullHD viewing or recording
It should be has at least 64GB internal memory or even microSD slot.

                      Looks like a modified SGS2.

Just saying, to "SE design fans".

In a world of court cases, injunctions and legal battles, I can't understand how SE so unimaginatively copied the Diamond 2.
Just put both photos side by side: They are identical!
Can't understand why SE designers get paid... Copy-Paste can't be all that difficult.

I like the design. Not as much as the Arc but it's still nice. I love the transparent buttons. SE designs are always different and daring. That's what distinguishes them from all the other manufacturers.

I don't understand those people who are complaining that it won't be released with ICS. You people talk like it's on every device out now. Have you forgotten that ICS source code was only released a month ago? And only SE have announced their update schedule publicly. Considering we can expect ICS from SE in March/April 2012 is a good thing. This phone WILL get ICS. It's just a matter of time.

Well, 32 GB is too little for Full HD shooting. They should offer either 32 GB or 64 GB Nozomis, but not either 16 or 32 GB. I'd definitely buy a 64 GB version, as I love shooting videos.

Being an admirer of Sony Ericsson, I find this phone ugly. In some angles, it is more or less similar to cheap Chinese phones. Arc is way more stylish than this one, period.

As a Ericsson fan since 2002, this gets 2 thumbs up from me. The design fits right inline with some of SEs past iconic favorites.

Not having a SD card slot doesn't bother me. I never exceed the need for more that 16GB on my Nokia N8.

This is not likely to be the final build. I'm sure the battery will be replaceable, and it may very likely get removable flash media.

Sony really isn't competing in the arms race like the Chinese and Koreans. They are building smartphones THEIR way. Much better than looking like blown up iPhone 3GSs (*cough* Samsung *cough*)

No removable battery, no expandable memory and same goes for Sonys the walkman line. Sony took over the phone business that's for sure :D
