Anonymous, 14 Jan 2019Meanwhile my S8 is still on the November security patch.Hmm. Note that at least some of us got two updates based on the November level, in November and December, and a three days later in December got a new one based on the December update.

To be honest I am a little jealous. Even though my Sony XP got Oreo way before the S7, it has not received the security support as the S7 had and still gets. That's pretty good for the S7 owners.

The S7 was one of the most successful phones in the Samsung Galaxy lineup. It was a great package overall with very few things to disappoint. I have one lying around as a spare phone. Still works good.
