As i said just compare the iPhone 5s from 2015, that receives newest iOS update immediately right After Apple released it and it's possible that iPhone 5s recieves iOS 13 Update, which means it will be 6-7 years of updates.
IT IS EMBARRESING

Pity about Dark Theme. Windows 10 Mobile already had it since AU update from 2016. 😂🤣

Will it finally have edge touch protection as iOS has since ages? Using Android devices over 66 mm wide is a nightmare. Opening notification panel one hand is impossible as palm completely locking touch screen.

Dr. Chillo, 18 Jan 2019Does this make the situation better or does change the fact... moreAFAIK All Samsung flagships receive 2 major OS upgrades, with min 3 years of Security patches.
In my experience the quality of the updates has been great, fully baked, bug free.

This March 2015 Galaxy S6 was launched with Android 5 Lollipop & now has Android 7.0 Nougat, (it looked like it was going to receive Android 8.0 Oreo, but it didn't)

                    I got the June 2018 G920FXXU6ERF5 software/ security update.

Is it good enough, No!, especially now some of these phones are over £1,000 (I got my 512GB 8GB Note9 with 512GB SD card for less than this).

Going forward & at these prices I expect 3 major OS updates, and more importantly a MINIMUM of 5 years of Security patches.

ANY brand failing to do this should be named & shamed, any brand achieving or exceeding this should be praised.

The dark theme, i can not wait for. I need everywhere on my phone black!

This is what I hate about android, inconsistency. A couple of years ago they forced all producers and software developers to switch to material design with a white/transparent background and now they do the exact opposite, forcing everyone to turn to black. Make up your mind already google!!!

Please include options for navigating the UI such as using soft buttons instead of SHOVING GESTURES down our throat. Of course, some may feel gesture is easier for them, but there is still a lot of people who are already using the tradition buttons for navigation.

B.Saadeh, 18 Jan 2019I think people complaining about samsung being always late ... moreDoes this make the situation better or does change the fact, that Samsung is horrible in releasing new update? And only 1 or max 2 years of OS update is unacceptable for a flagship which costs 1000bucks or more.
I'm afraid i can't see any connection between being lazy and greedy in releasing updates and including features to their Zustrom OS.
