Running after updates? My V30+ don't give a pig and it's rocking !

Why is this update limited to Korea only? Slowest update - LG's USP :D

Yeah. Sounds encouraging until you realize LG updates only Korean variants and a few other carrier locked variants and minute samplings of other international variants. The majority of unlocked international dual SIM variants are going to die with the Android software they were launched with, with absolutely ZERO Android software version updates. That's what happened to LG's previous flagship phones. Don't ever be fooled by LG's fast update promises and update publicity stunts for the Korean or US carrier locked models. You'll regret it.

You deserve so much better than LG's horrendous update support. Did I say HORRENDOUS? Yes! - ABSOLUTELY ZERO Android software version updates for many of its 2016 and 2017 flagship G series and V series international unlocked flagship phones - NOT EVEN a single minor 0.1 android software update after MORE than two years being in the original Android software version they were launched with. Did I say HORRENDOUS? Yes, its that horrendous. Don't waste your money on LG phones. You deserve better.

I have a question though if I update my G6 to Pie if it ever comes. Will there would be a chance that I end up locking up my phone?

well no surprise their promises are but to Korean market
in other words if you want to have a phone always updated from lg you must purchase Korean variant because those devices are not capped as I can see. and are not prompt to have many issues like international variants....
the b&o 32 bit dac was for korea and international with G5
the micro sd version of G2 was for korea too
the nougat update on v10 was for korea and T-Mobile usa
g4 got in korea and some countries
conclusion get a Korean variant for all and if networks are issues get the T-Mobile variant usa them
