any user of the razer phone 2 here? are you experiencing the half screen freeze of the original razer phone? i have not found any yet on the internet. alot of people had the issue on the first one either out of the box or after a few days of using it. apparently the problem is with the loose connector for the lcd controller. my razer phoner did not have the problem until 4 months of using it, and razer was requiring me to send it to singapore for repairs. upon researching i found that alot of owners had this issue and found it is hardware failure. i was fearing it was the lcd itself as it would be difficult and most likely expensive to replace it because it is a 120Hz screen afterall. i took the courage of opening the phone myself and found that touching and applying a little pressure on the connector for the flex cable on the lcd controller side fixes the issue. so i applied a double-sided thermal tape and affixed it to a plastic insert to make sure it will not be affected by any movement such as vibration or even drops, and sure enough the issue went away. the reason i am asking if anyone is having the same issue with the razer phone 2 is because i am planning to buy one this month, and if it is having the same screen issue as the original razer phone it would be more difficult for me to repair it on my own as this one has ingress protection rating.

No deal, without 3.5mm jack as a CHOICE & STANDARD at this "discounted" price, I will not consider it. Asus ROG phone is miles ahead in terms of connectivity choices sans the microsd slot.

Here in Canada the phone is down from $1100 to $970. Our dollar compared to USA isn’t even that bad. They overprice everything in Canada. Real conversion it should be $850 cad.

Do manufacturers list their products way over priced and just discount them to reality a few months later? This phone released at $699 and then discounted to $499-$550 makes so much more sense.

The fate of a gaming phone! No one really bothers! They need to innovate a bit more, have their own SoC, have a modular approach, make an expensive shell and allow gamers to modify their mobile rigs with various power packed accessories including SoC, Display, Storage, Graphics etc...Like Project Are....Otherwise, this will be a dead horse!

That's why you put 3.5 in gaming phone. Bluetooth is lagging, and with dongle it isn't comfortable to hold.
