      Stuck in 2017 software wise and in 2016 hardware wise = DOA in 2019.
      Phone companies must put at least SD636 or they can GTFO.

        Damn it vivo , Another overpriced device.But still it will sell because of great marketing.

Oppo/Vivo put a ton of marketing into sub retialers in third tier cities. You can go to a village and see banners and promotional stuff for Oppo and Vivo. Xiaomi is not doing that, focusing mostly on online channels. People in cities might know Xiaomi, but many more people in smaller cities would know more Oppo/Vivo as a brand than Xiaomi.

          I personally prefer Xiaomi because I know better, but consider a lay person not knowing much about smartphone hardware. They are easily influenced by Oppo/Vivo’s heavy marketing. And Oppo/Vivo will always compare themselves to Samsung and how they are cheaper and better deal so people think their phones are good value.
