In fact, the only other thing that can kill your battery other than heat is dropping below 5% of effective charge. Luckily, constructeur have set limit so the phone shut-down before this happens.

imparanoic, 25 Jan 2019even if you use qi charging everywhere, the fact the partia... moreWell, it's true that Qi charging heat the phone for a longer time than a classic charge. Even fast charge that heat a lot is better since it's only for 30 minutes (there were some independant studies about this). You got a point here.

I just want to point out that partial charge doesn't wear out the battery quicker than full charge. And about full charge, every people that charge beyond 80% and go below 15% doesn't take care of the battery life or their phone, so, I'm not sure QI will do that much in practice since a vast majority already have bad charging habits.

This is a great concept and if done right, could really be the future. In fact I'm pretty sure Apple will come out with something like this in a few years' time.

A sealed phone is a dream for manufacturers. No openings, no buttons, water resistance (as this phone has with its IP68 rating). And it's great for consumers too, no more worrying about ports, jacks or getting the right connectors. And no more getting entangled with wires.

If it becomes as fast and safe as wired is right now, wireless could indeed be the future. Great going by Meizu, credit where it's due.

If Meizu is as big as u said, why do Meizu not have market share just as Huawei, BBK, Xiaomi? Do u know that Alibaba give invest to Meizu on 2015 because Meizu is going down and down? Do u know that India and Indonesia is most populated country after China (not include US) but Meizu market share on both country is soooooo small? Do u know that Flyme Forum Manager moved to Huawei?

Yes Meizu is not new company. They are quite old but that doesn't mean they are as big as than Huawei, BBK, and Xiaomi. Remember, I dont underestimate Meizu but I just say about how Meizu now compare to other Chinese giant companies that I said.

You are short of knowledge on Meizu.. Meizu is a very old and distinguished brand.. They used to rival and compete with Apple's iPod and Microsoft Zune's for media player prior to the smartphone age(maybe before you were born).. Meizu MX4 is crowned as the fastest smartphone of its year beating Samsung and Apple.. Meizu MX4 is also known for the development of Ubuntu Touch platform(a FULL Linux OS on a phone compared to JAVA mess Android) followed by Meizu Pro 5 although sadly the Ubuntu team halted their development.. Nowadays Meizu is ranked 11th smartphone manufacturer world wide.. Beating the likes of Sony and HTC.. So NO.. Meizu is NOT small..

Imagine the nightmare if the phone got a serious error like bootloop etc. It'll be stuck in the error until the battery drains because there are no physical buttons to press to force restart.
