Less MP = less crop = easier to hide noise and other failures on small screen after 100% zoom in..
The Isocell 1/2" 48MP is made to sell to chinese midranges of BBK and Xiaomi

We need these sensors in phones. These 12mp sensors are old now and just not worthy of the flagship process we pay.
If we could combine the capabilities of the Nokia 808, note 9, mate p20 or 30 etc. Supreme sensor quality, minimal processing, raw output, Samsungs or lgs camera ui and controls, newer sensor tech, newer brighter apertures, newer focusing tech.

Meizu Zero looks very promising.
No holes no buttons no dust water no other crap.
Finaly a phone worth every penny.

GalaxyS10X (or whatever the 5G model will end up being called) will be a better phone in my opinion, but I think this will surely have the best camera - no question.

According to rumors from Huawei's research lab, the liquid lenses are developed to address many issues related to high power optical zoom with space limitation. With such new tech, optical zooms much more powerful than 10x is possible in the near future.
