The only reason I might buy this is when I broke my S8. My S8 is still good and brand new, no scratches, not really slowing down.

Oof, that's not good.
The punch hole is really jarring. I'd have much preferred a tear drop design like the M series. That way you'd have some much needed symmetry and potentially MORE usable screen space.

The S8 and S9 look so much better! What was wrong with the bezels of those two? This bezel-less thing is pointless! Phones are already like 90% screen at the front, like jeez isn't that enough?

Design looks a bit bland to be honest. This isn't the radical change we were expecting. It is more of a refinement over last year's design... Front is fine, but it really doesn't look attractive from behind.
As for the 3.5mm jack, this is supposed to be the last S series phone to carry it. According to the infamous rumor, the jack will get scrapped starting with Note 10. We'll see if it turns out accurate or not down the road.

LOL, this is such a downgrade from the much older S8 even. I'd rather have a bit more bezel in the S8 way, without holes/notches, with a full display. Sliders are a better option than this. Go fix the selfie cam problem, Samsung.

Jeez, if you have to use software to hide the dual hole notch on the Plus model, the bezel is going to be as big as the Pixel's...

A S7 for daily usage is still a very good all arounder, the S8 added beauty and definitively a better SoC, but apart from that should Samsung have not produced a phone since the S8...? It is the user that has all the choice of the world : new flagship and have it a few years, new flagship and change it every year, old flagship to hold for 2-3 years, old flagship to change with the 'new' old flagship every year, new midranger, old midranger...
