why do people care about design ???
it is not a car, it is a phone, kind of limited on options there.
it is going to be in a case anyway.
give me speed, high gigs, high pixel density, big screen and I am good to go.
LG needs big rebound in USA market before Huawei and xiaomi and oneplus will take a big bite out of north american market.
Wishing you all happy selecting this may

GoToSchool, 25 Jan 2019Won't be buying anything LG branded any time soon, I just h... moreLG having poor software update is an understatement. Horrible and horrendous software update support is a more appropriate to describe LG's utter disregard for software updates. My 2016 V20 H990DS - ESA-xx variant is still with exactly the same Android software version it launched with in 2016 - Android Nougat 7.0. That's more than two years being stagnant at Android 7.0. Not even a 0.1 update! And the security patch? Its still January 2018! A flagship phone launched with an $800 price tag should never have such horrible software update support! Well it's LG. Avoid the brand at all costs if you care about updates. Otherwise, if you like buying flagship smartphones with ZERO Android version UPDATES (more than 2 years and counting) get an LG smartphone.

                                  * LATE UPDATES FOR THEIR DEVICES.
I owned for almost 5 years LG smartphones with no complaints. This year sadly I switched to a POCO F1 and still miss some LG V20 / V30 features.....

It's just such a shame that the whole of Asia appear to have a complete inability to write software or code full stop. Amazing hardware and totally sh*t software?!? Sony can't even write algorithms for their own camera technology? WTF?

So...is this going to be an LG V45G (as in 5G)? I mean, I didn't mind the V40 if it had a bigger battery and STEREO SPEAKERS. I usually don't care much for updates as long as it gets security patches. If LG gives us that 4,000 mAH battery and stereo speakers, I MAY consider it.
