G7 play is significant upgrageon SoC I think this gooddwciaion, leaving SDM 4xx for Lenovo, with so much better quality lenovo shold win the entry market

Even Sammy has come to it's senses, but Lenovo believes Moto is even bigger than Sammy right now!
My prediction is in 2 years time Moto G series will be competing with Oneplus in terms of prices lol

Motorola should use at least Snapdragon 710, not the old Snapdragon 636, in Moto G7 Plus! The Moto G series is no longer good value for money!

These phones are going to be born dead.

Quantum, 29 Jan 2019What a joke of prices. €360 for a G7 Plus that is basically... moreFunny how times are changing. Samsung offering devices with aggresive prices (Galaxy M20), and Motorola, once renowned for offering good value for money, now charges midrange price for lower midrange phones. Even Huawei Mate 20 Lite is a good choice against the new breed of Moto G devices.

I understand they try to sell this overpriced thing in places out of xiaomi, asus, realme and vivo reach.

But even pricy sammy now have Galaxy m20 with fhd lcd, 5000 mah battery, and octacore exynos with a73+a53 core (sd636~660 equals) that sold under $200 price.

What a joke of prices. €360 for a G7 Plus that is basically the same phone as the previous year with lower battery 3000 mAh vs 3200 mAh than last year, but with a bit improve in SoC 636 vs 630, in any case, and older one from the end of 2017. The main camera now has 16 Mpx but the secondary is the same crap 5Mpx depth. And the Moto G7 will start at €300 LOL.

So they are asking a premium mid-range price for an older phone that even lacks of OIS in the cameras while the "Zenfone 5" with a SD636, 3300 mAh, camera with OIS, two of them 1.4µm regular and wide angle 120º f1.8 Sony IMX363 Exmor RS, 90 DoxMark before the improvements, better selfie too: 8.0 mp Dual Pixel PDAF f2.0, audio jack, FM Radio, NFC, cost €319 in Europe now. Why? Because the teardrop notch? What a bad joke from Motorola or Lenovorola.

Someone must be dead laughing too at Xiaomi, etc. And more when it's known that their new models and others from other brands that will be released next month are light years above those Motorolas.
