Factt, 29 Jan 201937k for what! Kirin 980 that easily beaten by sd 845 in GP... moreThere is Lava and Micromax to atteact buyers like you. Honor has buyers who understand that they are getting good value for the money they are paying.

So what about Honor 20? What will it contain? They have too many similar products confusing customers. The price is already started hitting the ceiling for the brand. This is not AMOLED, No IP Rating, No in display fingerprint reader, DxO ranking is not available for the mobile for Cameras, Software support is unsure (OP6T wins in this)...Many SD 855 are being lined up to compete with Kirin 980. Though I myself having Mate 20 Pro, it is just 6 GB RAM whereas Note 10 is having 8 GM RAM. Huawei is not selling its 8 GB 256 GB edition in the market....Hope they succeed. Those who wanted to switch from expensive brands have already done so far in 2017-18, this year will be tough to compete with higher prices, any brand for that matter.

Honor View 20 is arriving in three colors – Red, Blue, and Black. The 6/128 GB variant costs CNY2,999 ($435), while the 8/128 GB option is CNY3,499 ($510). The Moschino version comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage and costs CNY3,999 ($580), but it does not have the fancy black panel.

What happened? Why it's much more expensive?

Factt, 29 Jan 201937k for what! Kirin 980 that easily beaten by sd 845 in GP... moreThe phone displays HDR 10 just fine, it's just not certified yet.
The honor has the better SoC and camera blows the OnePlus out of the water.
Why shouldn't they charge the same price. if you can't afford it then it's not for you.

                37k for what!
Kirin 980 that easily beaten by sd 845 in GPU but on cpu it is slightly better.
What about lcd display it is not comparable with amoled panel and even it is not certified hdr10.
Sorry Honor please keep price low to attract buyer like me.
If this year mi 9 or Lenovo z5 pro gt with sd855 will come in India nobody thought you.

Guys yeah the price is kind expensive but have you guy checked the camera comparison between this phone and other flagship, don’t even compare this to one plus 6t this have better picture than Mate 20 pro in broadlight and goes even with pixel 3, the 48mp Sony sensor on this phone is underrated

Exactly. forget about Oneplus 6T, even google pixel 2 XL can be purchased on Amazon itself in 39000.

This time around Honor are pricing the View 20 on exactly the same lines as the One Plus 6T - 128 GB / 256 GB versions. They are afterall direct competitors. Besides going by the way One Plus keeps increasing the price for every new version... the One Plus 7 will probably be even more expensive.

Absurd pricing by Honor, trust me for this price this one gonna be a flop phone.
Before launch, many websites claimed price to be Rs 36000 and although that was a bit higher side still ok price..and now actual price is Rs 38000 same as oneplus 6T.
Honor needs to realize that they are not OnePlus, OP is so trusted and well reputed brand in India specially in higher segment and people buys their phone without any second thought.
In same prices OP6T is obviously a clever choice I think.

Great phone but its on the expensive side imo its better to wait a few months and go with Mate 20
