Btw Bluetooth 5.0 uses less power than 4.1/4.2

The indoor navigation feature (RDF) is optional part of BT 5.1 spec and as such most will not implement it because of cost issues. So good luck seeing it in your next phone.

it seems that bluetooth 5.0 probably uses alot of power especially with it's extended range (double of regular bluetooth 4.2 and double range of aptx hd and ldac), but it's stupid to set a new standard after all bluetooth 5.0 has few compatible headphones and even less receivers and probably next to none transmitters, while aptx hd and ldac slowly gaining more and more support.
