I like Sony, i owned many mobiles from them, but after the Z5 compact, i left, never came back, but always looked back, in case they improve. One of the main reason i left, was the washed out colors, this one seems certainly fixed. The other reason was that the legendary Z3 compact, their battery performance and capacity was in constant decline, it seems that the XZ5 wont have that issue. Luckily they kept the things i always loved, their sturdy, yet elegant looks, great sound, their characteristic UI.
Yet, there is still one more thing they kept failing me, the screen/body ratio.
Imo, it demands high technology and premium materials. And at this point they seem to be quite at the bottom of the entire industry, heck even Nokia improved there and they have always following, since the Ericsson days.
1cm top bezel and 1cm lower bezel is completely unacceptable for a 2019 flagship, stereo speakers,led and 3d face recon won't cut it for me. Esp for the lower bezel, there were mobiles that could host capacitive button and fp unlock there, like the Mate 10 pro, at least save the user from the navigation bar. As it looks on those leaks, its unacceptable, but they are getting there, thats all there is to improve and oh, better camera software on low light shots.

The true successor of XPERIA XZ PREMIUM is yet to be revealed. I consider XZ2 and XZ3 to be experimental iterations used to try new designs and test new tech. To some extent XZ4 is also a test model for the next iteration which will be perfected to its core.

I love the fact that many people hate sony and the ones who loves it are the true fans of sony. so let see xz premium first to do 960 fps .. all people this is a gimmick.. next year all phone makers do it. people yeah baby this is the best feature ever :)

Low frequency just can feel or listen a very very loud volume,
These low frequencies are in everything but in the movies and music is the point
I have the xz2 and I can't see a video without dynamic vibration, u can turn it off but for me now is amazing

Whether u turn it on or off, the hardware is still there taking unecessary space and thickness.
Furthermore, xperia is a phone. Not a ps.
Implementing vibration is a huge mistake.
Sony is confuse, because they realize competitors have far superior features. That's why sony implement this stup1d feature because they dont have anything else for their customers.

U mean heart rate monitor in galaxy... moreBecause PlayStation have vibration controller that's why the feature are implemented to phone, because it can give you more feeling and sensing, but you can turn it off. The second benefit is when you turn the ringtone off the powerful vibration can be the notification assistance because it shake well in the pocket.

Both are useful for people who often do sports activity, and for those with health problems.
The real most useless hardware features is the Dynamic Vibration used by Xperia.
Wasting battery, wasting physical space, and adds unecessary thickness to the phones.
