Feels like the screen protector is the only functional one with the in screen fps..to avoid people complaining that the finger print ain't working with screen protectors they decided to include one which works... change it and it stops working... interesting...

So much for people saying that ultrasonic fingerprint sensors would be affected by screen protectors. Plus there are always great freebies in Samsung boxes, unlike so many other premium brands. Samsung had also thrown in Wireless charging pads so many times.

Screen protectors further protect the glass screen that covers the display...
The intention is for the screen protector to break first instead of the glass screen.

I think it is/was a fad or only necessary for cheap Chinese knockoff that have no proper protection from scratches (I.e. no gorilla glass or similar)

It's a nice touch that the S10 & + curved screens come with factory pre-installed screen protectors, though I found it surprisingly quick & easy to fit on the N9.

I do not think that S10 family will reach the same good sale as S9 family did. For me, I am better to wait 5G gadget then follow the trendy design. Good luck then.

Lol the s10 will be disappointing, just a slightly better s9 with a new design, a slightly better 8nm processor, a slightly better camera, a slightly better screen and same ufs 2.1 storage and same type of ram, its gonna be a good phone but there are other flagships coming later this year with SD 855, better and faster ui, ufs 3.0 and a cheaper pricetag, overall the difference between the s10 and s9 will not be that noticeble. Pixel 4 probably will be the best non huge flagship of 2019, unless oneplus decides to make a smaller version of the oneplus 7.
