If so, i just have a simple demand: hack it!
"but why bother when only a handful are in use now"
Well either you are fully unaware or just want to ignore facts!(the same security goes for Key one/two/LE! + DTEK family)
"There are otherways they are probably taking info off the BB"
Well this is a move forward to not paying attention to actual topic!
you know this ways can be hardened and also are applicably to other devices aka iphone and androids
It's not dead but it'snot in great shape either! i'll wait for the future!

All in all you missed actual point!
What you stated is not true so deal with it!

And who said Iphones are unbreachable???
      Pure lie.
Qualcomm is a lot more secure than apple.

There are otherways they are probably taking info off the BB. You have GPS and stuff so they can track it if they want. It's dead anyway, look where it was, enterprise king now gone. Didn't move with the times.

They couldn't even get it rooted let alone being hacked(you can check XDA if you want more info but your brain might been cooked if you put more info on it cause it seems the limit is as big as iOS limit in every thing!)

Ok, that's nothing new in security circles, as Apple product is known as most insecure, because their security is based on marketing thing. Marketing is so strong that Apple users live in some kind of illusion, making them ideal target, because they dont't care about security at all.

                2. Facetime wasn't patch they just took the service down after many times that the mom of the teen that found the bug tried to warned apple. Facetime bug wasn't minor, every site even 9to5mac and gsmarena the the site that you comment on say it was major.
                3. There was a hack, just a google search ( or a duckduckgo if you don't like google) for "Australian teen hack apple servers" will give you plenty of sources.
Maybe you sould check your sources and stop being in denial.

                    Just WTF!
They had to take down servers so it wont happen any more!
Also there is still no patch available for iphone users!
So you better first check your source before saying anything idiotic!

the Jailbreak act is not for changing os it is used to manipulate the OS security and make it to do things it is not supposed to do!
iCloud hacks are not like what you said(it is need to note that a weak password compromises your security but it wasn't case with iCloud case) it was cause of a flaw in the source code and the way it handles requests!
"Technology is not a mystery, it's actually pretty simple."
well at lest for you it is a mystery that you have no idea what it is!

FaceTime bug some people say was there for some time though it is not a small bug, Apple has to shut down its servers! Just imagine important personalities making conversation being recorded that can put them under unenviable situations....BTW, Facetime was there in iOS for quite a long time and for Apple to come up with Group Calling after so many years, with a major defect tells a different story. I still feel that this is not a bug ;-) may be a feature meant for spying agencies

Check your sources and then fact check those sources. Don't believe whatever the media tells you, otherwise you will end up gladly allowing google, amazon, and facebook (and others) into your life and your home, by using their smart speakers, smart doorbells, keyless entry locks, surveillance cameras, their apps, their "research" programs, etc.

And the FaceTime software bug was live for less than two days, which, in terms of software design, is phenomenal to get it plugged so quickly and start working on a fix in a matter of hours. Besides, it's something minor as it doesn't compromise user data. Just a small glitch.

Jailbreaking can't access current information on a user's phone. Jailbreaking is just installing another OS on the same hardware which has nothing to do with the iOS security.

iCloud "hacks" are just users who had weak passwords or had used the same passwords across multiple other websites that leaked info. All these "hackers" need to do is buy a list of username/password combos and see which ones still work.

Technology is not a mystery, it's actually pretty simple.

Whereas they don't need absolutely any tools or hackers to spy on android phones, as those spy on users by default. Anyone can spy on android whenever they want. iPhones need entire teams from top government agencies working for years in order to get access to some iPhones temporarely, until Apple patches these flaws.
