As someone else has pointed out, with the help of pixel binning, it could pour out some class-leading 8 MP selfies. Videos are a different story though...

Shanti Dope, 31 Jan 201932MP with 2MP worth qualityIf they actually use such a high-resolution sensor to their advantage with pixel binning they could get a pretty good looking 8MP image which isn't too bad at all
