Apple knew about these facts, but they reacted only when the bubble exploded in their faces.

Apple is simply covering their backside.

With a cert, you can deploy custom apps. Give that power to other parties who is outside the agreement may result in bad consequences.

Sure you may cut cost.. use cheap labor third party programmer to create apps for you.. but you may not know what surprises they put in.. or blackmail you.

What apple did here is totally correct.

As for the typical end user.. if you are displeased with App Store app selection.. you can always sign up as dev and create your own apps.. hint.. github have tons of quality app ideas.

If you contact Google requesting all the data they have on you, you will get it quickly.
If you contact Apple requesting all the data they have on you, you will get it after quite a while. Almost like they're carefully cherry picking what to serve you and what not to, rather than to share all of your data they have on you.

Google isn't pretending not to build any profile on us, and Google does the same on iphone through Google searches in any broswer, use of chrome and Siri's web searches which are google searches these days, previously it was bing.

My point was that Google should also be held accountable for mass data mining (I don't know a better term). Google also used a similar service/app to Facebook that led Apple to ban them. In general, Google is similar to Facebook in this case. While people are so fixated on Facebook that they are letting go other offenders.
Android requests hella lot of users data compared to iOS and that's what I'm talking about.

Not even the original story between apple and facebook regarded data stealing, but Facebook's use of the "Facebook Reaserch App" where their customers voluntarily offered their data in exchange for money. No stealing.

However distributing this app to consumers is in violation with Apple's Developer Enterprise Program. It should only be used internally in Facebook for development purposes.

Don't tell Apple didn't expect this to be abused.
I'm not surprised that Facebook & Google abused this. Facebook is well known for stealing & selling data to anyone. Mark Zuckerberg is most evil man in techs.

Google and some other companies are right up there with Facebook in regards to data stealing. It's just that Facebook is the only one facing consequences.
Kudos to Apple for banning these thieves, the only practice that I really like about Apple.

Well this was expected when apple is failing at selling their phones well they need money to pay their employee so yes they will keep doing this stuff more and more in future.

Haha.. apple this is not a long term solution to your problem if you want to sell your phones try pricing them sensibly next time and I bet this would work

And Samsung's tizenOS failed HARD to penetrate the market.

Apple terminated these certificates for good cause after blatant violation of the terms by the licensees.

                      Get an original idea, bro

Facebook and Google are being bullied into Not disclosing figures of iPhone's declining sales. Apple cannot hide the truth for too long.

If Huawei, Samsung and Xiaomi create their Own OS and Store, they could easily topple Apple and everyone else, and have better optimisation.

                          Diametrically opposed foes

I think this is a very counter productive move.
This make the iPhone user that use google enterprise moved to android?
