They come up with reasonable prices initially and try to keep it forever. Only they reduce some after introducing new models. But Samsung is not like that, they keep the prices high initially then reduce it to the realistic levels in a few months. Samsung flagships will be MORE VALUE FOR MONEY if you buy it a bit later and can value MORE than any other flagships across platforms.

Samsung is really gambling, didint learn from Apple mistakes. They will definitelly will strugle to sell alot with those prices. Huawei Apple and Samsung are the brands now to be avoid for ridiculous pricing for theur falgships

Thats all story, and for that, OEMs, can increase their prices year after year.. But i think thats to much, because Samsung, Huawei.. Does not matter what phone is, after 2 months on the market price goes down for 30-40%, especially Huawei, because, for two month they will have 'new' flagahip..
So my point is S10 will sells, but via mobile providers/operators for monthly pay cca 20€ for S10

Have you seen the p... moreBoth of them being the leader in the mobile tech, sort of price fixing it like crazy...slowly Huawei is also joining the crowd in few years time from now. More competition is needed at least 5-6 top players with market share difference must be around 5%-10% between each of them. Otherwise, concentration of market share makes them more abrasive in their crazy pricing. Apple would lead and others would tail them. Not good for everyone.

Appalling prices that are higher than some flagship grade phones! The "quality" of Samsung's offerings aren't any higher than many other flagships.
It's just arrogance on Samsung's part, carrying nothing more than a brand premium just like Apple. Both of these companies are being found out now because people are no longer queueing up to pay the unjustifiably high asking prices.

I can afford it easly but not gonna spent over 1000 for smartphone which in a year time is 50% cheaper than normaly. My mate bought iphone X almost new for 450 last Christmas.

HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro: 256 GB, 8 GB RAM or 128 GB, 6 GB RAM - Price About 880 EUR
Samsung S10: From 749 EUR (6GB + 128GB Storage) up to 1,499 EUR 12GB + 1TB Storage + Ceramic back panel)
Yea, I know prices vary from one country to another and go down after release date, but my point is clear.

Everyone complaining about the prices is just because they can't afford it. All phones manufacturers are not the same, Samsung is a premium brand compared to most of the competitors, they have mid-tier models for those who find this expensive, they also have the Lite and regular version of the S10 for those who don't want to go full RAM and storage. Anyone who have had lots of Samsung products wont doubt about the quality (I know there might be a few exceptions, not many), you can't compare Samsung (Which is one of the biggest companies in the world) with new/random Chinese brands.
You can cry as much as you want, you won't get the best for the same price as the rest of the pack, and yes, you pay for the product and the brand sometimes, that's how it's always been...And for those who laugh at Samsung supposed upcoming downfall, give me a break, Samsung is a huge monster when it comes to business, nothing will be their downfall, they do way more than just a few cellphone models a year.

Shame, it looks like I won't be have any storage options beyond 128GB, as the E is the only model I'm interested in, due to physical size and flat screen. I would be willing to pay more for greater built-in storage to go along with my 400GB microSD card, as I have massive amounts of music to store, along with video, and the fact that I use my phone as a portable PC drive. Maybe they'll release another version with more storage, but I suppose I should be happy to see an increase over the 32GB of my current S7.
