kakouille, 01 Feb 2019CopycatThe smartphone market is saturated, and every brand is copying each other now.
Not a big deal. I'm a consumer and prefer the vast selection of phones available now than in the past (Apple-Samsung duopoly).

I need an available and fairly cheap 256GB NM card, Huawei, not a foldable phone. Unless I can't use any of your recent phones.

LG Superfan, 01 Feb 2019Imo inside fold is better than outside like Samsung I dont ... moreMost flagships are already glass sandwiches that people put screen protectors & cases on. With the outside fold, you would only need a film-based screen protector and that's about it, unless you really wanted to protect the back for some reason. These design elements would mean no tempered glass but I would think that since its the foldable oled display tech, it's already built for more durability than the glass on our phones now.

Whackcar, 01 Feb 2019Huawei is hitting Samsung in all fields. Be it budget phone... moreExactly, competition is great for consumers - more selection and cheaper prices.
Win-win for everyone except for hardcore fanboys who swore loyalty to their corporate masters.

Abhi, 01 Feb 2019Except you guys said in your own review that Asus ROG phone... moreAs taghack said, these are very different things. Wi-Fi 6 is 802.11ax and works in the 1-7GHz range. WiGig is 802.11ad and works at 60GHz.

Abhi, 01 Feb 2019Except you guys said in your own review that Asus ROG phone... moreActually, the Asus ROG phone has support for the WiGig Wi-Fi ad, 60GHz. It is a very specialized tech, intended for really close range, but high throughput communication. The Asus wireless display dock uses it. As far as traditional Wi-Fi in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz ranges is concerned and where Wi-Fi 6 resides and operates as a standard, the ROG Phone only covers the traditional a/b/g/n/ac specification, with Dual Band support.
It's just that the Wi-Fi 6 naming convention throws most people off, since it makes little sense. In essence, Wi-Fi 6 comes right after Wi-Fi ac. Hope this clears it up.
