01 February 2019
The power cell is the biggest LG has put in a G smartphone since 2013 and the curved G Flex.

The battery was bigger on LG X power phones.

    PapaRafe, 02 Feb 2019Did LG G7 ThinQ have a 1440P screen?1440p has been since LG G3

Step up your game LG put dual punch hole cameras with Quad camera setup on back (normal, wide, telephoto 3x and monochrome) with large pixels bigger than V40 and special night mode the current phone is bad and atleast 4000mah battery with 3.5mm jack and hifi quad dac and minimum of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with SD card (optional)
No need to cut features to reduce prices (latter they dont do)

But will it come with software updates?

Not bad, but not good enough either.
For a high-tier 2019 handset notch has got to go, period. It's unacceptable to keep that ugly front design, when other companies have moved beyond it.
Someone could say that the in-display fingerprint reader is mandatory for such a device in 2019, but that would be too much to ask from LG, unfortunately they are not pioneers anymore.
I do not like it, but it will probably be my next phone, I love the quad DAC, the wide lens camera and the FM radio. But I will do it only when its price will fall under €550. That's not good for LG, to create phones that are not desirable and sell only when their price drops.

It would be wise to skip the s10 and lg g8 and wait for other flagships that are coming out later this year because the new ufs 3.0 is far superior to ufs 2.1.

This is a fake news, especially the part that the G8 is the latest version of the G series

Waiting for the inevitable "3500mAh is microscopic, I want 4000+" comment.

I thinQ it will have better battery life than my Samsung Galaxy S4

LG needs to do more though. A notch ain't gonna cut it. They needed to come out with something more pleasing to the eye. Hell, imagine if they put speakers on the front, top, and bottom. That would be so cool

Their cameras are not enough good in low light. Are they ignoring the comparatives between their phones and competitors? Again they put tiny 1.0µm sensors in their cameras...........

And still with a one year old cloned design. Patetic. I bet they'll price it as high or more than the G7 ThinQ nothing.

That's definitely a step in the right direction for LG, if it ends up having a 1440P panel hopefully there will be options to reduce the resolution down to 1080P to squeeze more SOT out of it. LG should also really up the resolution of their main camera sensors on their G and V series of phones to allow for much better pixel binning/versatility. IIRC the G7 has something like this but since the main camera is 16MP pixel-binned photos come out as 4MP which is way too blurry.
