There are a few phones with good resolution and quality. And I've learned to take most of my images in pro mode and process my own raw which just looks so much better. And with apps like lightroom, snapseed, and my handy photo app all make it extremely easy too.

I like how every DSLR camera (that uses pixel shifting) still puts its native resolution on the cover, unlike every smartphones company these days that "proudly" puts a huge MP number + "AI" text on the body, for marketing purposes.

[deleted post]Not even close lol. Smartphone camera can't beat DSLR, the difference in sensor size is too massive.

[deleted post]Well, i'm also never thought to see this day that somebody who recognizes this kind of forum, still thinks that megapixel numbers are the only image sensor benchmark, denying how much the sensor size differs.

[deleted post]I'm a hardcore fan of Sony phones but your comment is nonsense...
Do you think a small 1/2" sensor is better than a full-frame sensor because of it's higher resolution?

[deleted post]LMAO I'm a big Sony Xperia fan and I'm excited for the XZ4, but no way it will beat a proper full-frame camera like this!
Smartphones have their own limitations, and if everything is just based on megapixel count, why do many photographers still use their 12MP or 24MP full-frame digital cams instead of the Nokia 808 PureView with its 41MP sensor?

Nice, i have tried a Lumix GH5, superb pro device for video, the LUT profiles, the AF speed, etc also for regular shots is great too... and anyone dreaming having those features on some smartphone, take a seat and wait...

                                  [deleted post] "!" ??

I wish i had 5k $ to spare. :) Anyway, on paper it looks very promising but i would like to see samples soon.

Man only 9 or less years old kid could write this sentence you cant be serios.
                                      Its not all about MPix?
Latest Xiaomi phone will have 48 and 20 Xpix camera thats 68 total and still have a very far froma proper DSLR camera quality.
Even a Nikon or Canon DSLR from years of 2000-2005 do a lot better photos than your honored Sony.
                                      Wake up man.

Proper DSLR will be always a lot better than a phone camera.
But i still think Nikon D3500 is a lot better.
