Looks like the Snapdragon 855 performs slightly better in multicore and not quite as good in singlecore Geekbench. But both are close to each other as long as they thermally throttle ever.
Summer usage is the determining factor!

This are facts. S10 was benchmarket several times theses last tests proven most score and thus are cheating.
Any tests before werent this promising.

Vegetaholic, 06 Feb 2019Destroyer of the SD 855. At least on cpu side, hope they wi... more7420 was with the s6 and compared to the s810. Which was a rushed first dive into 8 core setup and on an older larger a d less efficient node so it had lots of heating and throttling issues.
While 7420 came on the first 14nm node and was a beast.
The 9820 will do very well in gpu with Mali g76. However Samsung is putting more time, focus, money, and heat allowance in the cpu side. So the gpu set up is ample and will come close to snap, but will probably not quite match it. But nothing that should be major. Plus you'll have the benefit of far superior cpu... Theoretically.. and audio performance.
But now we have to wait and see how well it's implemented this time and if they actually optimize it for usage or chase benchmark numbers again instead making it throttle of too fast.
Hell. 4000 peak with more efficient and longer lasting performance would satisfy most.
However I believe also that many are chasing numbers. I even believe Apple does too. Most of us can guarantee that their cpus don't actually stay at that mark for long. It's just peak numbers for bragging rights.
Though since the s835 and continued very well into the s845 Qualcomm finally made great strides towards efficiency and longevity. And I hope and feel the 855 will continue.
Especially depending on Samsungs imementation of the 9820 the 855 might even challenge exynos in efficiency a second time in a row.

There's a huge portion of people that don't even touch apple, preffered something else, or didn't want to spend that much.
Use your brain. It might not all be flagships but clearly androids sell in vastly higher numbers than iPhone.

Probbaly that was realtests and now they cheating on a benchmmark.
Samsung have so much money they can easilly afford to cheat on a benchmark score.
By the way SD855 was faster than A2 bionic.

And even traded some blows with gpu usage.
Clearly I'm already the accurate one here.
And as long as the 9820 is implemented well.. Much better compared to the 9810 then it already has beaten the 855 in many aspects.

The Exynos 8895 was beaten by the QSD 835.
The Exynos 9810 was smoked by the QSD 845.

It's possible that the 4th-generation Mongoose Exynos, that it might be able to equal the QSD 855 or even beat it. Or even get closer to the performance of the Apple A11 and A12. Would I say it is probable? No, not really (and neither would Andrei).

D... moreJealous, I am in no way jealous of any iPhone user. I've had a 7 and an iMac very briefly, resale value is fu#king garbage unless you fall into the device recycler known as the Apple store. They wouldn't even offer me $100 for my iMac.
Do you think your better than most people because you fall into the Apple ecosystem trap? That's what it really sounds like!
I could go on for days about the traveling I do across North America in my Expedition, or the countless hours I put on my pontoon boat with my family, or the atv excursions, hunting trips, back country canoeing that we do but I'll let you win because you have an iPad and a Macbook Air (I'm guessing).
I'll be planning my next trip to Machu Picchu shortly and then possibly visiting some of Europe after that and all while NOT GIVING ONE FLYING FU#K what you think.

Do you think that professors, doctors, lecturers, businessmen, solicitors etc keep up with the Kardashians? Cos most of them use apple.
You need to travel more. Regular people, not show off people, use Iphones and iPads. You would find out if you actually travelled to Uk, USA, etc.
Most people I see use iphones here because why not? No fussing, best support here, resale value. Not all of us use our phones for word documents and coding and watching youtube at the same time or whatever you think android is superior at. We have ipads or laptops for that. We can afford both. A phone is a phone. And yes we buy bmws, mercedes and audis to take our children to school and go shopping. You will not force us to buy a kia or a nissan truck. Once again have an open mind and travel more. IPhone users in your country are probably show offs. Here they are the majority of people. Can you understand this? It means than more than half of the phones you see every day are iphones. Are they all show offs?
