viano, 06 Feb 2019HMD's joke prices as usual, only fans buying Nokias, i th... moreI'm not Indian, but HAPPY that AT LEAST there are people with the same mindset as me out there STILL EXIST...

That's what I always say, that ALL Nokia devices' pricing are INSANE, as they are the SAME DEVICE made by Foxconn in China; that's why NO SUCH THING AS "Nokia's Quality" BS anymore as Nokia / HMD have ZERO MANUFACTURING PLANT.

The ONLY thing that Nokia 'sold' to people are 'NOSTALGIA' and AndroidOne; that's all.
While it's good for several stock Android fans, stock Android have LESS useful in-built apps necessary for daily uses; which Custom ROMs have, as Custom ROMs are developed by manufacturers as 'added value' only available from each vendor (Samsung Experience, MIUI, Flyme, Optimus, EMUI, etc)

        HMD's joke prices as usual,
only fans buying Nokias, i think.

Even that reduced price for the 32 GB version is way to expensive . . .

The days people in India can get an ASUS
Zenfone Max Pro M1 for much less at Rs 8499 ($119)
        with
        - Full HD+ screen,
        - much bigger 5000mAh Akku and
        - Snapdragon SoC

but even the new Max Pro M2 (ZB630KL) with SD660 coming at better prices,
than the Nokia 5.1 Plus in that new storage versions.

MPM1 at this price beat even that underpowered, laggy M10 crap in price,
by offering a performance competing with M20.

Anonymous, 05 Feb 2019The HD resolution is a deal-breaker in 2019, anyone justify... moreThen why 820p screen(which is well below 1080p and closer to 720/768p phone/pc HD displays) is a topseller for apple even though they have priced on more than 1000$ dollar in markets like India

Pranees, 05 Feb 2019Samsung M series has just shaken the market...After chinese... moreLol u must be a deluded Samsung fanboy. Samsung was the one who got scared to death after 2018 practically rendered their low - midrange phones irrelevant. Now they release M series hoping to gain some of the lost foothold, but then they can't even match the 2018 models from the said Chinese manufacturers...

The HD resolution is a deal-breaker in 2019, anyone justifying otherwise is a deluded fanboy.

Regardless of what pixels can or can't be seen, anything above $250 should be a FullHD display.
