Like A Series Proccessor, Apple own modem will be always faster than android, come on apple, I trust you

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2019It's different compared to the previous forewarnings - now ... moreIt’s always different and it’s always a new competitor every year with the same old results at the end of the day. Nokia was never a lifestyle brand, Apple is so much more than a hardware company.

Qualcomm was no longer providing modems for Apple. Intel was, and their modems are absolutely horrible. The iPhone X was the phone with the weakest reception on the market, dropping connections and struggling with wifi and Bluetooth stability. The Intel modems are worse than pretty much anything we've ever seen on the market. Considering Apple is in a feud with Qualcomm, they are pretty much forced to make their own modems.

And from the looks of it, other phone manufacturers are the ones that's innovating and coming out with new stuff whereas Apple is just making incremental changes. I don't think the company will collapse overnight, more likely it'll be a gradual descent into irrelevance (kind of like Nokia).

Hmm I can see both sides losing out overall with slower market growth not being funny but 4G is faster than most things require on .. I mean when you look at the 5G band on WiFi it’s already fast enough I mean you just need a better ping over long distance .. not by firing more radio waves to counter for packet loss.. kinda seems pointless imo most phone user Rarly max out 4G in one go.. also it will only help for large downloads.. granted it will allow games to become bigger , though in overall day to day use.. it’s overkill..
