Your ... moreThe analogies are great and all, but a wardrobe for your home is considerably more important than an app drawer. I guess it's my mistake for comparing the two. Not having an app drawer would be more like not having a folder for your handouts, and just placing them directly in your bag or book instead. It makes organisation a bit easier if you have a folder/app drawer, but it's not an essential part of your life that will ruin you completely and drive you to depression because you don't have one.

Dont know, but i lnow that Samsung copy that swipe down from home (half) screan for notificarion panel from another OEM (from China), in 2017, with S8, and that feature was available ,(again, on those China OEM) since.. If i remembet correctly, first half 2016..
Today, Xiaomi have ads if you set region to India, also Xiaomi have ads in their 3-4 stock apps (but you can turn off that).
Also, i heard (on reviews) new Samsung M series that, Samsung also have ads in their stock apps, for Indian market. It seems that copying continues..

In today's world where everyone has Youtube access, we get to know everything a phone has or doesn't have before buying it.
People here are buying Realme device just because they are cheap, and then complaining "this doesn't have this and doesn't have that" as if they didn't know it before.
Don't know about Oppo, but Realme devices are getting updates regularly, and their support is quite decent as well, it's amazing actually, considering they are just 8-9 months old.

You're not forced to buy from a single manufacturer? Like it or not, there are some people that *gasp* like things that you don't.

Color os is a real nightmare in my oppo find x. This made my mind clear of never ever getting an oppo phone again. Power management, regional os discrimination (still no theme store for my model) are ones of the numerous deal breakers I faced.

The OS doesn't arrange the icons for you. Add to that, you do have widgets you can place anywhere just like icons.
Those who like clean homescreen, like someone said, can keep it as clean as they want.
Also, it's unlike clothes on tables and chair, again like someone said. You have the option to place your clothes anywhere on a stand, on a wire, or if you wish, on tables and chairs as well lol.

You can use other launchers that have app drawers, much like you can buy different furniture for your house. And again, you can just put the unwanted apps on a separate page. Or in a folder. _It's_ _not_ _hard._
