iOS 12.1.4 is now out, fixing Group FaceTime eavesdropping bug

The company has finally dealt with the issue found in late January, and issued another apology.

                  Yes, they fix it because only the $$$ authorized partners and the government have the right to spy. Normal people are only sheep with limited rights.

                      I literally never use Facetime, for me Whatsapp video call is way more simple but with FaceTime the video calls quality is a bit better.

We have to assume some thorough testing of the bug has to be made as well, and the text implies that they found a few additional bugs they plugged as well...

                                This time they seem to have handled it well, from what we know.

                                (do not expect them to stop the eavesdropping, the fix is more likely to limit who is allowed to do the eavesdropping...)

                                For once it does not look like an attempt to lure people into upgrading to a newer device.

                                    Anybody really believe they stopped eavesdropping?

                                    At best they have stopped making the eavesdropping easily available...
